We chose MySQL mainly because the ecosystem around it is stronger. As far as I know (without having much Postgres experience) it’s worse in most other ways, but those things don’t matter too much to us. We use InnoDB, and don’t use a lot of fancy stuff like stored procedures or geospatial indices or triggers, so MySQL doesn’t end up too much worse in practice.
Solo pensar que muchos de mis amigos, prefieren PostgreSQL. Por otro lado, ahí tienen un mercado listo para explotar aquellos que adoran PostgreSQL y lo conocen perfectamente.
